This tool was originally intended to classify texts as containing so-called hate speech. There are different definitions of hate speech in the academic literature, since it is a rather subjective concept. Since there are a wide variety of text classification necessities that cannot be covered by providing any set of pre-trained classification models, the tool now comes with functionality to train and use custom classification models based on labelled data provided by the user.
This could be used to train models adapted to content related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
